Hello & welcome! I’m Christa Rene Robinson, the founder of Christa Rene Photography. I’m so excited that you are considering me to be your portrait photographer. I believe that getting to know my clients is the best way to ensure an awesome experience, so I’d love to begin by telling you a little about me!
- I married the SWEETEST man, Edward, on September 14, 2018!
-We've been fixing up a home together, and it's a long process but SO rewarding!
- I graduated in May of 2016 with a Bachelor of Science in business and a minor in photography.
- I started my business in 2013 when I was in college and only 18 years old.
- I live in beautiful Greenville, South Carolina but am always up for traveling!
- One of my FAVORITE cities besides Greenville is Charleston, SC.
- I’ve photographed over 80 weddings, and I’ve lost track of portrait sessions!
- I'm convinced I could eat Chick-fil-A everyday and never get sick of it!
When I was preparing to be Edward's wife, I came to realize a new view of photography. I realized more than ever how precious this time is. I looked back at our engagement session constantly, and relived the laughter we shared. I understood more than ever how excited my brides are to get to their wedding day, and how surreal this season is for them! Being engaged was such an exciting time of my life! And knowing that I get to help other engaged brides during this season, and provide them with the memories to enjoy years and years after their wedding day fuels me. Our day was perfect but felt like a fast-forwarded movie! Thankfully, we have beautiful pictures so we can enjoy the details we missed, the moments that went by too fast, and the teary ceremony for a lifetime!
MORGAN
GET TO KNOW OUR ASSOCIATE
I’m so excited to introduce Morgan as Christa Rene Photography’s associate photographer! Mor- gan ha second-shot for me throughout the last couple of years, and has the skills and talent it takes to photograph a wedding beautifully, while keeping the Christa Rene style and offering an incredible in-person experience! Morgan will be the one who photographs your engagement ses- sion and wedding, while I will be planning with you along the way, checking editing, delivering your galleries, and always there for any questions! We like to refer to it as the dream team!
-Morgan graduated with a degree in Elementary Education in 2015
-We really bonded over watching The Bachelor together every Monday night!
-During the school semester, Morgan teaches Physical Education, and coaches several sports. Needless to say, she’s great with kids!
-She’s obsessed with Jimmy Fallon!
-She’s a planner and list person, and cute, organized planners make her day.
-She’s a fellow coffee addict, and it’s probably best we don’t have a list of how many times we’ve been to Starbucks together!
-She’s a huge traveler, and in just the past few years has been to Israel, Iceland, Europe, and China.
-Which means when we traveled to St. Augustine, Florida, and Charleston, SC together to photograph weddings, it’s always a great trip!
-I’m constantly blown away by the love she shows to everyone she meets, which is one of the biggest reasons I’ve taken her on as an associate photographer!
-She’s crazy talented, and has shot multiple weddings as a lead photographer, and several second-shooting with me.

our philosophy
I know at this point your brain must be going 100 miles an hour trying to get the details for your wedding together, and that’s ok! My goal is to assist you in the wedding photography process so that you feel completely prepared and calm about your big day. Your wedding day is one of the most important days of your life, and I consider it an honor to be given the opportunity to have my team capture your day.
I focus on giving my couples the best experience by doing my best to serve them throughout the entire planning process, and making sure my team is enabled to help the best they can on the wedding day.
Morgan’s job often not only entails wedding photography, but also a dress carrier, veil fixer, boutonniere pinner, and constant cheerleader! Our goal is to create a relaxed and personal experience by offering light, elegant, and joyful images all the while making sure our brides are completely prepared for the amazing photographic experience they deserve!
I’ll build the timeline for your wedding with you to ensure we have the perfect amount of time for your pictures. I’ll be there for all of your questions along the way, while Morgan will be working in person and photographing you in my signature style! After the wedding, your images will be professionally edited and uploaded to an online gallery where they can be downloaded. Keep reading for more on the experience!
After getting married, there’s nothing I love more than enjoying the printed pictures of our wedding day. There’s a print by our bed I wake up and stare out, feeling all of the emotions all over again! It’s so special having tangible memories of our day!

Do you travel for the engagement session?
I am more than willing to travel for engagement sessions! It’s great when couples use a location that’s special to them. I book engagement sessions at least 2 months in advance and am available to travel up to 60 miles from Greenville, SC.

How many images do we get?
I average 70-100 images per hour that I’m shooting. I love delivering each client’s files quickly and easily via an online gallery. Since you are given the complete rights to your photos, you will have the ability to print, share, and download your images as much as you want. I LOVE seeing brides share their images!

Is 8 hours enough coverage?
Eight hours is the standard amount of time needed to photograph the entire wedding day from you and your girls preparing, to your reception dancing the night away. The main goal right now is securing your date. You are welcome to add additional coverage when we get closer to the big day and have a good idea of your timeline.

What is your shooting style?
I photograph weddings in a light, southern, classic style. During the wedding day, I do my absolute best to be in control and vocal when needed (e.g., bride and groom portraits, bridal party portraits, family formals, etc.), but I am also aware of when I need to take a step back and be inconspicuous (e.g., ceremony). Another way that I like to prepare to stay on schedule for the wedding day is by sending a questionnaire for you to fill out beforehand that outlines specific details such as family formal combinations. This allows us to be as prepared as possible to capture the shots that we need.
